We got a call from Courtney Hancock the other day... "I have been following your insta posts and I've seen so many cute winter things I want to get my hands on! I need to update my winter wardrobe a bit, so I was thinking about checking out the new stuff at the Tweed store this afternoon".

We arranged a time so we could meet for a catch up while she was browsing around the store. We talked about her new challenges for this year, her training goals, as well as some other new ventures. Courtney looked fabulous as always!

After a chat, we dove right into the shopping! First things first - a trench coat for the chillier nights. "The weather has definitely got colder and I feel like getting cozy and warm, while still being a bit dressy". Our trench coats have a relaxed style, yet they can still be dressed up. Courtney couldn't decide between the lighter colour and the dark one, so she just decided to take them both! "...who wouldn't, it's no brainer at this price!". The grey colour is perfect for the afternoons, nights, and those occasions when you want to feel a bit more dressed up. The creamy colour suits the sunny winter days and feels lighter. 

When it comes to winter clothing, Court knows what she wants: "...a few plain colour basics, topped off with a beautiful piece". She checked out the basics section, getting her hands on a few black long sleeved shirts.

Jeans weren't difficult. Our skinny jeans caught her attention from the first moment. "I need both black and white jeans, so I can combine them with anything. I choose high waist and skinny cut so I can wear loose blouses and jumpers on top. They will go perfectly with my new trench coats". 

And voila! Black basic long sleeve, black skinny jeans, and a cozy trench coat made for the perfect outfit.

The denim section got her excited... "I guess we could spice it up, I've been wanting to get myself some ripped jeans and jacket for a while. I actually don't mind the denim on denim trend!". And there is a lot to choose from: ripped jeans, high skinny, high slim, ankle bashers, denim jackets, denim skirts... you name it!

All our ladies clothing is 60% off RRP, so Court was able to treat herself "...when you don't pay full price, you can go a bit crazier and stock up!".

After settling for some high waist jeans, jackets, basic hoodies, and long sleeve shirts, we headed to the surf accessories section of the store, so she could get a few things she needed for her training sessions.

"Early mornings and late afternoons are definitely chillier now, so I find booties and gloves great accessories to allow me to stay in the water longer".

We recommended a couple of different kinds of wax for her boards, and she also grabbed a wax comb from the counter.

All done! That was a productive shopping afternoon: clothes, accessories, surf gear and a bit of a catch up about life and her plans for the year.

Courtney definitely left our Tweed store with a huge smile on her face!
