The Mullet is a wave catching machine that can be thrown around with ease, punt in the slop or flow down the line when the surf turns on.

Flat entry rocker and wide nose combines with the double concave running all the way through the board. The full outline and wide round tail matched with the 5 fin set up makes this a versatile all round board. Set it up as a thruster in the small stuff to throw around and slide the tail, or change up to a quad for crazy speed and control on the better days.

Dave Verrall has been passionately shaping boards for over 25 years.  He strongly believes the key to a good board is a careful combination of quality materials and features to give correct balance, speed and control for an individual. He thrives on the challenge of making each individual board right for the customer and using new technologies to make old school things.

"I have always used my wits to challenge what I do everyday.. Trying to make it better, starting with a Vision, to Creation then Application. Designing surfboards aligns with my personality and I love the challenge of refining and sharing surfing experiences. 30 years of doing this has some amazing results that you can all benefit from, the current models I produce are the results of this refinement and feedback.     • Take advantage of this amazing $30 exclusive promo when purchasing a shortboard upto 7ft. Sideways offers truck freight for coastal pick up. Eligible pick up locations are subject to T&C's and must be between Noosa to Sydney Northern Beaches coastal area. If you are located in an eligible area and are interested in this option, please let us know in your product order form and we will let you know truck and pick up schedules. Please note that delivery times and availability with this option are subject to each case conditions and may vary. Please note that this is not a door to door service and the truck company will arrange a meeting point subject to each case, usually close to the highway, at a petrol station, etc.


  • AIRPORT TO AIRPORT SHIPPING

    • Sideways offers an Airport to Airport freight service on selected surfboards. We send boards from Gold Coast to airports Australia wide. Alternatively, you can organise a collection by a fright company at your own choice. Every surfboard is examined thoroughly and ensured it is defect free before leaving the warehouse. Sideways is not liable for any damage that may occur during the freight. We take great precautions to ensure our surfboards are packaged adequately, this includes ensuring that the boards are heavily bubble wrapped and hard cardboard is applied to the rails, tail and nose. If your board is damaged in transit by a 3rd party we will not be held liable. Please ensure you inspect the product upon arrival.     RETURNS

    Sideways reserves the right to vary from this policy on a case by case basis. Sideways is not obligated by law to issue you with a refund if you change your mind or purchase the wrong size. For any return enquiries contact one of our staff by calling (07) 5568 7722 or emailing info@sideways.com.au. All refunds are subject to product inspection upon return. A refund will only be processed after the product has been inspected and approved/deemed ‘supply issue’.The new product will be sent out as soon as the return product has been inspected and approved.
