The MF twin + Stabiliser is a performance twin model surfboard by Luke Dorrington from LD Creations. The concept was to design Mick Fanning a novelty fun board for summer, something for small waves that was fast and responsive.
The outline curve is quite full through the centre of the board and the nose is noticeably pulled in to fit tighter turns. The flyer will also assist this making a break in the rail line creating release and allowing for a narrower tail.
The MFT+ has plenty of volume through the centre/flat deck and volume towards the rail. The rail is mid to low allowing the board to hold rail without being too corky. The bottom is a slight single to double concave with vee exiting the stabiliser fin.
Mick Fanning has been riding this model with the FCSII MR Twin + stabiliser set, however they have also found this board will also work well with your standard thruster fins.... happy days!
