Dave Wood

	Australian surfboard shaper Dave Wood has been shaping since 1988. He has shaped under the guidance of John Carper/JC Hawaii and Bryan Newton of Warriewood. Dave comes with a humble but experienced background and a wealth of knowledge with over 33 years of experience under his belt.
Dave has produced quality boards as a ghost shaper for Rusty Australia for 6 years in addition to his own works. He as has also Shaped for numerous CT riders and QS riders. Dave humbly admits he has shaped around 20 thousand surfboards! Now that's something to be proud of! .
	You can find Dave at his local break in Nth Narrabeen and his favourite waves to note; Snapper, Angourie and The Alley rights. He loves shaping surfboards and his passion is still as strong today as when he first started. Dave hopes you enjoy his shapes through Sideways and looks forward to seeing you ripping in the water on his creations.
